Your Guide to Local and Fresh Manchester, NH Juice Bars

To Find the Best, a Bit of Juice Bar Exploring Is in Order

Manchester, NH juice bars
Fresh ingredients mark great fruit and veg drinks
Anyone can use the drive through at Dunkin Donuts and pick up a convenient smoothie or refreshing fruit blend, but for the truly addicted - and by that I mean those whose passions lie in the freshest and most artistically crafted juice drinks around - a small road trip would be in order. The delicate balance of healthy flavors and textures can only come from an artisan establishment, and for juice bars around the Manchester area, there are just a few worthy of making the trip.

Bridge Café On Elm
Located at 1117 Elm Street, the Bridge Café is a wonderfully established icon for downtown Manchester. Once the home of weekly poetry slams, the café caters to the professional crowd with iconic fresh fruit drinks such as the Beet It, and the Vegan Vampire mixed with beet, carrot, apple, and cucumber flair. The café also offers a delectable selection of coffees and baked goods. Parking can be dicey, but in good weather, a two or three block stroll will set you straight before and after imbibing.

The Juicery
A short hop down the road, weary culinary travelers can stumble across the refreshing oasis of flavor that is The Juicery. Firmly established at 55 Hanover Street in Portsmouth, The Juicery is in a prime location as a respite from the hectic crowds of the seacoast. Open seven days a week from seven in the morning until seven at night, a changing menu has prompted the bar to make available a daily email that lists the freshest deals and specials of the day.

Orange Julius
It may not be a great idea to try and slip in during the holiday shopping season, but the Orange Julius locations at both the Mall of NH in Manchester and the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua have years of experience promoting fresh tastes for the weary mall walker. Parking is plentiful, as long as you don't mind the crowds.

Leavitt's Cider Mill
Off the beaten path, Leavitt's Cider Mill presses fresh apple cider each October and November for direct sales to visitors. Located on South Main Street in Pittsfield, NH, the press has been in operation for over 100 years. Visitors can purchase gallon jugs of the pressed cider from the owners, and stay to witness the process on Fridays in season. It's a good idea to call ahead to learn the best times to arrive.
